Rosie spent time in Australia working with elite athletes including the Australian, New South Wales and Queensland cricket teams as well as all of the Sydney based Rugby league teams competing in the Telstra Premiership and members of the Sydney University Boat Club who competed at Beijing in 2008 and in the Oxbridge Boat race 2009 (Isis). She specialises in not only rehabilitation of injuries but has a strong emphasis on prevention of injury and creating an environment to allow the body to function to maximum potential.

Rosie has post-graduate training from the Sutherland Cranial College to allow her to excel in her other specialty, treating mothers and babies, taking out the strain of labour and of being born leaving both of you more comfortable and able to enjoy this exciting time.  Rosie is qualified in Medical Acupuncture with training from the leading therapist Dr Anthony Campbell at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital allowing her to treat patients with both musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal complaints as a standalone treatment and in conjunction with osteopathic treatment.

Gemma is passionate about running, having competed in several half marathons and marathons so understands the demands running can put on your body and how to prevent injuries to get the most out of yourself to produce results whether taking part in competitive events or running around the park at the weekends.

As a sufferer of migraines since early childhood Gemma was drawn to osteopathy after successful osteopathic treatment helped to alleviate the condition. Training at the British School of Osteopathy and qualifying with distinction, Gemma enjoyed working at several community clinics and treating a wide variety of patients in particular sports specific and pre- and post-natal patients. Gemma uses amongst other techniques dry needling, massage, therapeutic taping and advice specific to individual’s needs. She has helped to rehabilitate many from the stresses of everyday living, the demands of pregnancy all the way to individuals training for sporting events.

Gemma’s has extensive experience treating elite endurance athletes and enjoys the complexity that comes with working alongside their other needs of nutrition and strength and conditioning.

Gemma has always been fascinated by the human body and how by removing obstacles, physical or emotional which may be preventing healing, osteopathy can guide the body towards health and wellness and allow patients to flourish. Gemma also loves cake!

Stacey has been an elite sports women her whole life and has only recently retired from playing with the Australian Womens Opens Touch Football Team. For 15 years Stacey was also a national middle distance runner and jumper however stopped to pursue her studies and career as an Osteopath in her native Sydney. It was Stacey’s sporting background that gave her the initial interest to study the human body and how it is related both structurally and functionally. Apart from her interest in treating sports related injuries, Stacey’s other interests Headaches, Neck and Back pain, Tendinopathies and Sports injuries.

Having worked in the Far East and the City prior to becoming an osteopath, Duncan fully understands the impact that pressurised long-term desk work has on the body and mind, and his particular interest in chronic pain and posture equips him with the knowledge and skills to help you work, function and feel better.

As a martial arts, hiking and cycling enthusiast he also understands the frustration an injury can cause to your sporting progress, and has extensive experience treating both athletes and deskbound workers as a qualified osteopath and sports massage therapist.

Matthew previously worked in the heart of the city until a career change occurred once he found his true passion – manual drug-free healthcare (use osteopathy if you like). Osteopathy has given him a new in-depth perspective on health that is part of a patient oriented approach to healthcare solutions specific to that individual. Experience treating via Sports Massage and Medical Acupuncture has been combined with the more subtle skills of Fascial, Balance-ligamentous-tension and Visceral manipulation. Matthew is a keen sportsman having gained sporting colours from UCL for cricket. He still enjoys playing football, tennis and squash when he finds the time away from further study!

Anna has always been interested in the human body and having a healthy lifestyle. Having enjoyed several sports growing up and requiring help with injuries, she realised the power of Osteopathy.

Anna qualified from The British School Of Osteopathy with a distinction and silver medal award. Prior to training as an Osteopath she graduated from the University of Exeter where she gained a BSc (Hons) degree in Human Bioscience. Alongside the training to be an Osteopath she trained at the renowned London School of Sports Massage and has enjoyed treating patients for a number of years. Through my training she was able to experience working with a wide variety of patients including expectant mothers, geriatrics, professional athletes and those with acute and chronic conditions.

The holistic approach of Osteopathy is something Anna is very passionate about. She tries to arm her patients with the tools and the understanding to reduce the risk of further injuries to ensure her patients can get back to the things they love long term. Anna offers and uses a number of different techniques based on the nature of her patient’s complaint to ensure long lasting results. She loves a challenge and is really excited to be part of the holistic and experienced team at Black Swan Osteopathy.

Anuvrat is a passionate osteopath and physiotherapist, who integrates manual therapy and exercise therapy to meet your needs and lifestyle.  Anuvrat studied physiotherapy from India and completed a postgraduate Masters degree in Osteopathy from the British School of Osteopathy.

Anuvrat combines manual medicine, rehabilitation and training, not only to recover from injury, but also improve performance and lifestyle. Anuvrat focuses on easing pain and restoring movement along with but going that extra bit to try and prevent similar problems from recurring by incorporating postural and movement re-education. She has holistic approach towards body, use of exercise for core stability, arthritis, and fitness.

Valeria graduated with a Masters Degree in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy, Kent. She works both as an Osteopath and a Level 3 Pilates Matwork Instructor and has a jet set lifestyle regularly commuting to Barletta, Italy her family home.

She has a special interest in women’s health, working with athletes to achieve their maximum potential despite hormonal challenges (!). She is passionate about educating her patients providing postural advice, stretches and exercises to speed up their recovery maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. She often uses Mat work Pilates to help her patients to recover from their injury dynamically using an evidence based approach.

Whilst enjoying a successful career in the travel industry, Andrew became inspired to retrain as an Osteopath and graduated from the British School of Osteopathy with a Masters degree and ITEC Level 3 Sports Massage Diploma. After suffering and then recovering from a work-related repetitive strain style injury, Andrew understands the significant impact that ergonomics and posture can have on well-being. He has several years’ experience helping patients from all walks of life feel better and facilitating positive changes in their lives. Andrew believes in the importance of exercise as a tool of rehabilitation from injury and uses his training with APPI Pilates as an adjunct to osteopathic and massage treatment.

Andrew is a keen runner, having completed both the London and Paris marathons. He also has a thirst for adventure sports, being a keen kitesurfer and snowboarder. Home life is kept suitably busy and exciting as he is lucky to be the dad of extemely lively twins!

Carry graduated with a Masters degree from the British School of Osteopathy and treats people from many walks of life, enjoying the unique clinical challenges that individuals bring. Carry is also a Fellow of Applied Functional Science. She is fascinated by the role of biomechanics as part of a holistic approach to health, combined with behavioural and motivational aspects of clinical presentations. She enjoys the challenges of diverse practice life and working to understand the of complexities of the human form and it’s interactions, especially in context of chronic problems. In her spare time Carry is a rowing coach on the Thames and enjoys different types of sport including cycling, running, trekking and cross-country skiing!

She is exceptional at spotting patterns in injuries enabling patients to get back to performing at full blast or simply experiencing the quality of active life they desire.
